Midnight in Paris

I saw this very nice little film by the legendary Woody Allen that Regadless of the title this is not a sequal to the infamous homemovie ”A night in Paris”starring. Its starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams about an screenplaywriter from Hollywood who wants to become a real author and write novels about a man in a memorbilia shop. He has a hectic girlfriend played by Rachel McAdams and you can tell that he is anything but satisfied and fullfilled in life, he wishes hw could move to Paris to live there for good and just wander around in the beautiful town of his dreams in the rain. He wished that he could go back in time to see Paris in the 1920ies when all the legendary artists and writers where there making their dailybreed, drinking the nights away in that decadent little town. One night he wanders off without his girlfriend and enda up in an old taxi with some happy go lucky persons and ends up at a party where Cole Porter plays the piano and he realizes that he has taken a timetravel back in time to the 1920ies. Here the adventure starts.

I must say this movie was an unusual pleasant film by Woody Allen, who i ususlly tend to find a tad boring. This is a refreashing and fun film to watch, a bit odd maybe but very nice in my humble opinion.

I will give this film 4 points out of 5 posssible..
